Kilnwick Village Hall, situated in School Lane, was originally the school room. It is owned by the Church of England and managed by the Kilnwick Village Hall Association, a group of local people who aim to maximise the use of the hall for the good of the community. The facilities comprise a small hall (approx. 6m x 9m), a kitchen (approx. 4.5 x 4.5) and toilets including facilities for disabled people. Tables and chairs are also available.
The hall is available to let by the day or by morning, afternoon or evening sessions. Costs are £10 per morning or afternoon session, £15 per evening session or £30 per day. A copy of the hire agreement is available on request.
Events
The Kilnwick Arms pub is open on the last Saturday of every month from 7.00pm to 11.00pm. Enjoy a drink and a chat with your neighbours. Some pub nights are themed (quiz nights, games nights, barbeque, curry nights). Look out for details in the Association's monthly newsletter and Facebook page.
Youth Club
Kilnwick Youth Club is held in the village hall on a fortnightly basis during term time, on a Friday night. For more details click here.
